Lots of kids have nightmares. But not every kid’s nightmares come true.
Finnegan Quick is terrified to go to sleep. He’s haunted by terrible nightmares. Nightmares that come alive and consume the people he loves one by one. They’ve already taken his mom, his dad, his dog, and even his shadow. And now they’re coming for his gran, the only family he has left.
Then a mysterious girl starts appearing in his dreams, helping Finn fight back against the creatures haunting him. Finn is sure she’s a figment of his imagination—until she turns up at his school and tells Finn that she knows how to rescue his parents.
Together, they battle goblins, ghosts, and zombies from Finn’s dreams. But if Finn is going to save the people he cares about most, he’ll have to learn to face his fears once and for all…or be destroyed by them.
