The Ending Made it Worth It

For most of the book I just kept thinking about whiny the main character was. Yes her situation was unique but she just seemed to wallow in her own self pity for 95% of the book. And that ALMOST made me stop reading because it was irritating. However, she was finally able to pull it together and by the end I was happy for her and glad I stuck it out. The book itself is well written and the story is lovely. The author did a great job!

the expression in the readers voice

I loved the descriptions of the seasons, colors, and feelings! This is an excellent audiobook. I'm glad I chose to listen what a pleasure!

Entertaining

I loved the story and the performance. I use Audiobooks for multiple reasons and this one made me not want to stop.

Intriguing Read

It took me a minute to get into this book, but once I was in, I was sucked into the atmosphere of the world that Rachel created. Definitely an interesting concept. Easy read. Lots of character development. If there ends up being a sequel, I would read it!

Fantastic!!

I really enjoyed this book. I started it this morning and could not stop. Enjoyed it. Thru my lunch. Enjoyed it through work because I can listen while I work, and finished it off while working around my home. I would not stop until I got to the end. Fantastic book!

Just okay

The story was simple and cute. Nothing really exciting or memorable. I finished it mostly for the narrator, she did a great job!

Good Story

The storyline had a lot of potential but the book was overall kinda boring. It was well narrated.

I mean, it's fine.

I think I just listened to a book for kids, albeit big kids?
The thoughts and ideas could fill, maybe, one chapter of a more mature book. It is a very whitchy, simplistic and cutesy love story. If that is your vibe, go for it.

acceptance

At first the story stars of with Clara being this most powerful witch an ever. teachers and classmates disappointed in her for not doing what she's told. however they don't know that an ever witches magic is far different than what they think. from what they tell her she trys but it only backlash for her causing her to fear her magic.
Clara thinks that when the total solar eclipse happens and stripes her magic she'll finally have so peace from all she cares and love, will be safe from her magic. one teacher tells her to love her magic and because when she trys he ends up dieing. then the I like to think of him as evil teacher comes he pushes her way to much.
and all you want to do is protect Clara from him and it's true. only when she receives books from her now decided teacher does she fully understand. an from the help of her love does Clara fully love her magic and is able to help when they need her most.

Absolutely loved it.

Where to start, this book is amazing and moving and I will say that I hope Rachel writes a sequel because there is so much more I want to know about what happens. I will definitely be recommending this book to my friends.
