What a great set of books. The character development is wonderful and the number of characters Silvers brings in to the story is amazing. I can't wait to read the next book.

narrator was great. it could just be me but the constant repeating flashbacks, I blinked is getting hard to follow. idk if it is because I listened to the whole series in less than 2 weeks or something else. this series has got me back into that and I must thank him for that service.

love all of Shayne Silvers books ,The Narrative is perfect,I can picture the Characters in my mind .The voices bring them to life for me.

I struggled to finish this group, because Nate does not learn from his very expensive mistakes. you would think that being brash, thinking like a " regular" instead of a Maker, and reacting to threats to loved ones without thinking of consequences like their maiming and deaths would make him pay more attention, but no.

otherwise, it's a good fantasy world with character depth and a well- developed plot, strong female characters and some interesting twists. it also has a lot of humor which saves it.

Best world to escape to

I've listened to all of the Templeverse books several times. it's my go to-escape from reality.
