Like walking through the Word

I enjoyed this book tremendously! I am a Christian songwriter and poet and Shannon Bream reflected on many of the passionate stories I write about. Her unique style and way of viewing the situations of each story made it easy to connect the dots. Women of the Bible had a purpose and Women of creation today have a purpose. We need the Lord's guidance to help us walk out that purpose and not be sidetracked by people who don't know or fear God.

enlightening refreshing and beautiful

I loved how this book visited the mothers and daughters of the Bible. It was a great read. very nice to listen to these beautiful recaps of history. the way Shannon described and analyzed Naomi's and Ruth's part in the Bible was inspiring. what great women we have to look up to. this was a perfect mother's day gift.

Wonderfully written book flavored with the Word of God

This was well written. I loved the perspective you brought to each character. Even allowing for seeing many in a different light like Bathsheba the mother of the wises man. And so many others. Congratulations. I will listen to this book again on audible. And I shared it with my book club team to add tot the list of books for us to study. Once we do that we would love to have a final reading with the author. Continue to write these words of truth and inspire us to be the light that will lead them to our savior. LadyDionne
