All Kinds of awesome
I wanted to see this play since I heard Chris Rock was in it, what i hadn't realized it that it actually stars Bobby Cannavale who has become one of my my favorite actors (mainly due to his work on Boardwalk Empire). Anyway, I'd describe it as a entertaining look into Addiction, Recovery, Relationships and Loyalty all told with the raunchy language the that these topics can evoke. It's like cursing poetry, with poignant discussions on these topics, I loved it. I cant recommend it enough. Is long as harsh language dosn't put you off, pick it up. I've already purchased other works by Guirgis on Audible.

Splendid!
What a great story! And, funny too! I played Jackie in a scene study class and learned a monologue of his from this play. It's a delight listening to it and hearing that character come to life.
