I continue the Amazon kindle unlimited program because though infrequently I find real gems of artistry like “The Midwife “. I hope that Patricia Cresswell continues writing. She has a gift and I consider myself a grateful recipient of it.

Fascinating

Loved how the fictional part of this story is developed. The historial true part is equally powerful. Loved the narrator voice and tone , made it a pleasant impactful listen. Beautiful writing.

To bizaar for me! I started to become emotional about the characters, and then became as confused as the main character felt.

The book was quite disjointed and difficult to follow. The ending did not fulfill my expectations. Disappointed.
