Fun read

Enjoyable series. Relatable characters that take you on a believable journey of friendship, heartbreak and life altering decisions.

The Match Maker

The second book in the series picked up almost mid-sentence from book one. I'm glad I didn't have to wait long since I had all three books lined up for listening. It took me only one day to listen while I cleaned my closet and did some other chores and errands. I admit I was smiling through Walmart as the story played in my ear.

I was already drawn in to the story of Charlotte and her dilemma of looking for Mr. Right in the first book. The story is pretty real as far as working single 20-somethings. I like the clean, articulate dialogue between characters.
I feel for Charlotte because I am clumsy like she is and I tend to look for the best in people and seem a little naive. But that can still make a person interesting.

Enjoyed this listen!

It is a fun continuation! It was a fun easy listen as I remembered the ups and downs of dating. Looking forward to the conclusion in the next book.

This has been an incredible series so far. So cleverly written with well thought out characters and plots. I love the way that the author is able to so eloquently paint a picture of characters, places and feelings. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series!

I think I liked this book even better than the first! It had some exotic settings that were fun to visit, and Flynn was absolutely adorable. I loved watching Charlotte's journey continue to unfold in a natural and realistic way, and I was so excited when conflict start to arise between Charlotte and Angus. Can't wait to listen to the conclusion to this series!

Even Better than Book One!

What made the experience of listening to The Match Maker the most enjoyable?

Even though I loved the first book I liked this second book even better! I like how well it was written and that it was never slow.

What did you like best about this story?

I was pretty sure I had the story all figured out but the author surprised me (I don't want to give anything away) and now I'm dying to read the last book in the trilogy!

Which scene was your favorite?

Oh! Definitely the birthday scene! I would say more but I don't want to ruin it for anyone who hasn't read it.

I loved reading this book! I also love that I can let my teenager read it and not have to edit anything out!
