Everything has a price
The idea of an immortal is nothing new, for it is the dream of many to live forever, but at what cost. It was interesting of how the immortal man stayed alive, but my favorite part was what he would do to save the woman he loves. What would you do? I can see that the story is not done, nor will it ever be as long as done as long as the man lives.

Not the ending I expected
This is a great portrayal of human nature and the desire to be forever young.... and the consequences. It’s complex, and not everyone lives happily ever after. There are some twists I definitely didn’t see coming, and enough ‘scientific explanation’ to support the story and the world building (without becoming boring)
It is very reminiscent of the existential works like L’Enfer c’est Nous Autres. Everyone ends up stuck together in the compound with no viable options.
The narrator kept it moving at a good pace with good tone and expression.
