The much anticipated wedding of Ashley Crane and Sean McDonnell is finally here.
Once the happy couple ties the knot, they embark on a relaxing honeymoon in Hawaii.
But when they return to Comfortville, trouble strikes.
An old acquantaince of Sean's is murdered at a reknowned Shakespeare festival in the town of Brewer.
In addition, one of Ashley's childhood friends is a major player at the festival.
At first, Ashley decides to leave the investigation to the local Brewer detective, but soon it becomes clear that he is in way over his head.
In an effort to keep this case from going cold, Ashley starts digging around and uncovers a web of deceit and hidden corruption.
Will Ashley's meddling put her and Sean in danger and cost them everything they care about?

Cozy mysteries are a must
This cozy mystery is fun, engaging, & an easy & lightweight read. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting something thats not too heavy. Also a good time for Shakespeare fans. Great narration.

The Long Paw of the Law 5: Ashley Crane Cozy Mystery, Book 5, my first read from author Laurie Anne Marie. A 4-hour 20-minute cozy mystery read. With more than 140 reads from author Meredith Potts/MZ Potts/KM Morgan/Amelia Morgan, I welcomed the chance to read & review an audio book she sent me. The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I look forward to reading more from this author. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018.
