Amy Clarke's dreams are coming true - and that's the problem. Legal secretary by day, romance novelist by night, Amy Clarke lives with a precious secret. For years, she has traveled to a holy place in her dreams - a sublime place she calls the Living Room. When she awakes, her faith and energy are supernaturally restored. And when she dreams, she receives vibrant inspiration for her novels. As she begins to write her third book, the nature of her dreams shifts. Gone are the literary signposts. Instead, her dreams are studded with scenes that foreshadow real life. Before long, the scenes begin to spill over into her waking hours, too. As Amy becomes entangled in a high-stakes case at work, her visions take on a dark hue - implicating someone dear to her, causing her to question everything. And convincing her to trust someone with his own shadowy secrets. Things are not always what they seem. But as fiction, dreams, and real life begin to overlap, Amy must stop dreaming and act to prevent tragedy.

Sudden, quick book

What did you like best about this story?
I loved the authenticity of the move of the Holy Spirit and the characters. Whitlow is one of my favorite authors in any genre. However, Heath McClure's poor performance almost ruined the book for me. I won't purchase anything he narrates. I wanted to get The Confession until I saw that McClure was the narrator. Get one of your former narrators Mr. Whitlow. Your wonderful writing is being badly served. What didn’t you like about Heath McClure’s performance?
Poor timing and inflections. My third grade readers could do a better narration. If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Be filled with the Holy Spirit!Any additional comments?
Robert Whitlow is a wonderful writer. I captures the nuances of his characters in such a truthful manner. His plots captivate and absorb one. Bravo Mr. Whitlow!Gifted writer-horrid narrator

narrator does a great job reading like a grandpa reads a story, and is able to stick with his place. but Lacks emotion and doesn't switch characters in voice.
would have more enjoyed reading it myself.
great story

Because I like Whitlow stories, I'll probably listen to the rest of his books - but I'm afraid I'll have to suffer through Heath McClure's reading.
McClure's narrating has almost no infection, no character variation, and hardly no feeling. I cannot understand why Whitlow chose this narrator for so many of his books.
Robert, if you want your books to be recommended, trash these audio versions and have them re-read by a REALLY GOOD narrator.
Horrible Narrator!
