Traveling home after the party that night, the superstitious (and romantically crestfallen) Crane spies a fellow rider in the woods. A rider...without a head!

A short classic that is perfect for Halloween!

This is the first time I heard the full story to this spooky classic. Kevin Theis is a new narrator to me. He did a great job with his narration and I love the sound effects added to the audiobook!

A Classic!

What can one say about the Classics... They speak for themselves! Washington Irving was A Wonderful story teller... Sleepy Hollow is a favorite of all of Us who live in New York. History runs deep, as do the folklore and enchantments of the area! This is no exception.. The Narration does a great job with the story... his intonations are good. and accurate to the tale. Great classic story!

A wonderful telling of this classic tale. Absolutely loved the narrator and the sound effects. Really upped the enjoyment for me. Perfect for Halloween in my opinion.

Love this story.

I am glad I finally got a chance to listen to this story. After years of watching different tv shows about this book I finally got to hear how it really goes. Loved it.

A classic for Halloween

I remember hearing bits and pieces of the story, but this book is original tale. The narrator was great.

love it alot

I love reading the classics and Legend of Sleepy Hollow is one of my favorites to read. now I will be able to listen to one of my favorites over and over. Kevin Theis does a really great job narrating Sleepy Hollow I really enjoyed listening to it while at work when things got slow.

Great listen for a commute!

This hour and a half long classic story is great for a commute. The narrator did a fabulous job (seriously A+!) and the background effects -which I usually dislike in audiobooks- made this story come alive. They were great. I rated the story as three stars, because it is not particularly thrilling or scary, but it is nevertheless responsible for the popularization of iconic characters such as the headless horseman.
