Being able to acknowledge the honest burden and sometimes loneliness that comes with leadership makes it possible to accept it, to push past the pain and get to the important part: leading and shaping your people into an amazing team. This book offers advice that actually brings you closer to being a better leader instead of just saying “a leader is kind “, “a leader is bold“. This book is far beyond fluffy phrases that simply sound good, I think it’s into the nitty-gritty of leadership. I received this book for free, and definitely would have bought it with my own money.
