This collection of comedic tales pulls back the curtain on the lighter side of working in healthcare. From staff desperately trying to swap shifts in an endless dance of excuses to the ongoing war between the cleaners and care staff over proper waste disposal, these stories capture the quirks, frustrations, and funny moments that arise when a group of overworked professionals is thrown together in the chaos of the ward.
You'll meet a cast of characters who, despite their best efforts, often find themselves entangled in ridiculous situations. There's Ajna, the no-nonsense nurse in charge who just wants the night shift staff to show up on time; Mr. Broom, the grumpy cleaner who's had enough of finding sandwiches in the infection bins; Nancy, with her wild excuses for swapping shifts and her penchant for chaos; and a host of other personalities who make ward life both a challenge and a comedy show.
