Felt like stories were unfinished
some good stories but a lot of them felt like unfinished thoughts on a longer idea for a story. Would be upset if I spent money or a credit on it, but since it was included it was what it was worth.

Trigger Warning:
This series of short stories contains sexual assault and rape. Its not explicit in the details but i still feel it should be mentioned. The story’s are definitely creepy but its just kinda set up like one of those ‘lets never meet again’ redit posts.

Short Horror Fiction You Will Enjoy
Short horror fiction is an art form. Many of my fondest childhood memories revolved around picking up old horror comics and reading the 3 or 4 bite-sized stories inside. Cliff Barlow has succeeded in taking me back to those days. Too many horror writers try for the novel, but lack the stamina and settle for publishing the short-story. Barlow uses the everyday backdrops we take for granted where horrible things happen.
The narrative by Chandra Skyye does take away a little bit, if you let it. As it has been documented, her inability to pronounce her "t's" when pronouncing a word like "written" was amusing but does stand out. But did not take away from the enjoyment for me.
I hope to read more from Cliff Barlow. Great Audible Plus listen for horror fans.
