The characters were well developed throughout the story. I could see this book scripted for theater audiences.

The author told the end of the story first, causing you to read on as to how Sabine would figure out the situation that lead to the tragedy.

Such a great story. There was so many good parts to the story. I absolutely loved the ending. I definitely recommend this book!! Loved the narrator, she was excellent!!

The entire story was intriguing. I was so glad to hear the backgrounds of each person in the story. Each decision we make causes a ripple effect. Great book!

The story was well-done and the narration made it more real. I loved the narrator’s voice.

The French accents were a bit over done but I thought the story was lovely.

I appreciate all of the authors who tell the story of the resistance in France. There were many brave and amazing real-life people who lived it. My father, born in 1923, was part of the network described in The Nightingale. Thank you for honoring the strength and heroism of all of these people.

Loved it

I really enjoyed this book. I thought that the way that the author told this story was very interesting and was an excellent break from the usual dual storylines slowly merging together framework that seems to be the norm for this genre. I really enjoyed the characters and the narrator also did a great job. I read a lot of this genre and would recommend this book.

What a story! The plot, the characters…all so well done. The narrator was a little too too with the French accent of Sabine, but otherwise well done!!! Looking forward to more of this author’s books!
