This is a basic, 101 level book on influence from a left-wing Democrat lobbyist perspective. It's not primarily about lobbying itself. The influence guidance is fairly basic,generic,and common sense. The examples, however, are from the world of a partisan swamp creature eager to whitewash the image of her profession and party. So, anything Democrats do is a "cause" and anything Republicans do is a "special interest."
