It was great.

The story line is really good. it is full of action. The reading was smooth and relaxing.

Love this series. Writing this after listening to the first 5 books back to back! Starting 6 today.
The characters are just your every day normal people. Think you, your family and random people you pick up along the way! You get an almost minute by minute play out of the zombie outbreak. The action is nonstop. Jim i& Karen, his wife, are our heroes and both are just bad asses and I love them both so much! Sara is probably one of my favorite characters. We get a few new characters in each book. No one is safe!
Jim & Karen will do anything to keep their girls safe! The action in all of these books is nonstop. Not sure how they all keep going! I’m ready for them to have a break already! They deserve it! I want to trust Leon but he makes it so hard! Shawna is just causing problems whenever she can! They needed to dump her ass a while ago. She knows they are good people but she wants to get back to her people and she is putting her life and the lives of everyone else in danger whenever she can! If she trusted them or held out a bit longer I know they would help her out! I wish we could have had our chain smoking trash mouth around a little longer! She was amusing! Ryder is going to continue to be an issue as well! Every time they say something is impossible it happens! When will they learn? What about brother Paul’s group? Is he destined to take all of his losses out on our main group? You can’t hate the man yet but I think we will before it’s all over with.
This is a great series! I’ve been binging it!

Another great installment of one of my favorite sci-fi horror series

It’s hard to believe that so much has happened in such a short period of time in ”The Infected” series, but that is part of the magic of author Joseph “Zombie” Zuko’s world. The characters are so believable and likable that it makes it incredibly difficult not to get invested into their lives. I really enjoy these books and hope you will too!

WHAT NEXT??!!

The ending of this book (#5: The Infected: Battle Ground) has got to be the most intense, and emotional to date. Talk about being left hanging! Of course, this is because after five books I am attached to this dynamic cast of characters, whom I feel like I know, and am now in for the long haul and invested in seeing them through whatever twisty path Mr. "Zombie" Zuko has mapped out for all, friends and foes alike. What a fun adventure he has us on!

This edition focused a lot more on the differences in the group dynamics between the sanctions. That being said, it is without a doubt, that each one has the same fierce determination, and the common goal of securing survival at ANY cost.

Obtaining more in-depth insights into some of the characters within both of the factions was much appreciated, since up till now there were several, whom I only had a peripheral view, and in this book, they play much larger roles. This proved to add even more intrigue to the already amazing plot. #BONUS!

There are also a few new characters introduced. One, in particular, (as if it is possible) manages to ratchet up the mayhem
and and terror, twofold. This person is a primo edition at the perfect time!

Mr. Zuko did not understate the fact that this book would be more intense. Cannot wait for for book #6 to come out on audible.

Mr. Bishop, as always, did a great job narrating! BTW: Dead ringer on the Kermit the Frog imitation! :)

Awesome!

This flowed so fast and was an amazing action packed ride as usual with The Infected series. I found myself giggle aloud at Leon's fantasy filled daydreams. I really enjoy all of the characters. They are well developed and stay consistent throughout the story. I can't wait for the next one!!

It’s definitely a battleground

This story is getting harder and harder for the people in this world. Wow. I can’t believe how much pain the main characters are going through and still have to bear. Another great book to the series.

The Infected book 5

This one got my heart. Mr. Zuko knows how to spin a story that's for sure. This whole series I can't stop listening I need to know what happens next. Just when things look like they are going to smooth out another bump in the road. And the way it ended OMG. And again Bishop puts kn an amazing performance.

I've enjoyed hearing about their journey so far. The name they came up with the 'toy' was hilarious. I look forward to hearing more.
