I love monster horror!

The House On The Brink by John Gordon narrated by Hannibal Hill. I love classic horror especially with monsters and when he was rolling in the bog during the rain trying to get home I knew this book was going to be an epic classic and with the awesome narration by Hannibal hill it definitely was. I love that so many publishers are bringing back these great tombes of yesterday and turning them into audiobooks. Not everyone is great at performing horror and Hannibala hill is remains consistently one of the best. I have yet to rate a book he’s done less than four stars and his performances always garner the five star credential and he absolutely deserves it. Please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review.

Blast from the past

As I started listening to this it just felt familiar, and honestly it wasn't until I was almost finished that it hit me that I read this when I was growing up, probably one of my earliest experiences with 'horror'. While relatively tame compared to much of the stuff out there these days, I think it still holds up fairly well, The creep factor is still there and Hannibal Hill's narration is excellent as always. It was an enjoyable trip down memory lane.

Oldie

This is a good book for younger crowd’s early horror books. I read this many years ago but enjoyed it for having it narrated. This is about Dick and Helen who see an evil creature who crawls out of the bog near Mrs. Knowles house . It has interesting ending. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Thank you
