Devastating truth about corrupt people!!
l listened to this whole book in a day. I couldn't walk away. It was engaging and disturbing at the same time Gross misuse of power at the expense of our most vulnerable youth . Sad sad story but sadly one in several hundred thousands of survivors of abuse!! Recommend but may be disturbing to some. I've worked in child welfare for several years so it wasnt as shocking to me a it may be to some. Brilliant.

exceptional book!
This is a very sad book. It had me crying and heartbroken many times while listening to it. The narrator was amazing with different accents and reading it as I would've in my head. it's really a good buy.

Wow!
This book was so eye opening, I never could have imagined such things that this poor girl experienced. There is no words of how strong this women is to write this book and have to relive this horror ! A must read!

Strength in Numbers
My Dislike regarding this book is that it had to be written at all. I too, suffered childhood sexual trauma. Our situations though very different are also very, very much alike. The trauma & abuse we suffer as children is never forgotten. I continued to allow myself to be abused … physically, mentally, spiritually & emotionally. The correlation between this trauma & illnesses (of all types) later in life, does not only impact the individual but also a cost to society. As a reader, I felt your agonizing pain & wept upon completing your book, knowing that human slavery & trafficking continues today. Thank you for your work on writing this book.

Riveting, Unbelievable but an Honest memoir of an extremely horrible childhood.
The story and narration are extremely disturbing but revealing about child abuse on many levels in our modern society. Almost unbelievable but many know how real the abuse was.
