See Why St. Louis-Marie de Montfort Thought “The Holy Slavery of the Admirable of God” Is Better For Your Devotion To Mary Than Any Other Book On Devotion To Her He’d Ever Read

You’ll begin to feel really good when you read this book, because it’s the one that set St. Louis-Marie de Montfort’s devotion to Mary on fire!

Jesus said…

“I am come to cast fire on the earth; and what will I, but that it be kindled?” (Lk. 12:49)

And this is the book that cast the fire of God’s love in St. Louis-Marie’s heart.

Canon Blain, his best friend, reported…

“As Louis-Marie devoted a lot of time to spiritual reading, he became familiar with nearly all books dealing with the spiritual life. Those which in my opinion were his favorites were those by the late Fr. Boudon.

“He would have liked everybody to join the society of the slaves of the Blessed Virgin. The source of this zeal was the book “The Holy Slavery of the Admirable Mother of God” written on this subject by the late Fr. Boudon.”

St. Louis-Marie had been the seminarian librarian. And he said later that he’d “read nearly all the books which profess to treat of devotion to Our Lady” (“True Devotion to Mary”, #118). And this one was his favorite.

What makes this book different?

St. Louis-Marie revealed…

“Predestinate soul, here is a secret the Most High has taught me, which I have not been able to find in any book, old or new. I confide it to you, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit” (“The Secret of Mary”, #1).

And even though he said he couldn’t find this secret in any book, when he decided to teach this secret to others, he quoted this book again and again and again.

Montfort Father Jean-Marie Texier, an acknowledged expert in St. Louis-Marie’s Marian spirituality, stated…

“The writings of this holy priest (Fr. Boudon) charmed the fervent seminarian (St. Louis-Marie) in his free time and gave a lively impulse to his momentum toward the good. But none captivated him as much as “The Holy Slavery of the Admirable Mother of God”.

It is a rich repertoire from which Montfort drew extensively when he composed his “Treatise on the True Devotion”. One finds, in effect, in the writings of Montfort, the thoughts of Boudon, and sometimes even his expressions.”

Not only did St. Louis-Marie quote this book extensively, he also referred to Fr. Boudon several times in the “True Devotion to Mary”.

You’ll feel really good when you read this book, because it fills in the gaps St. Louis-Marie admits are in the “True Devotion”. He said…

“I have now said many things about the Most Holy Virgin; but I have many more to say, and there are infinitely more which I shall omit, whether from ignorance, inability, or want of time” (True Devotion, #111).

And…

“As I have not much time for writing, nor you for reading, I shall say everything as briefly as possible” (Secret, #2).

So, when you read this book, you’ll feel really good when you see how well it fills in the gaps, so you can transform your devotion to Mary.

Yes, God wants you to know the secret He revealed to St. Louis-Marie, because he emphasized…

“God wishes that His holy Mother should be at present more known, more loved, more honored than she has ever been” (True Devotion, #55).

St. Louis-Marie assures you that what Our Lady will do through you will astound you, because he insists…

“Only experience can teach the wonders wrought by Mary, wonders so great that neither the wise nor the proud, nor even many of the devout can believe them” (Secret, #57).

You’ve been waiting long enough to be shown how to skyrocket your devotion to Mary and deepen your relationship with God. Pick up your copy of “The Holy Slavery of the Admirable Mother of God” today, because St. Louis-Marie assures you that it’ll work for you.
