A marriage of convenience seems like the perfect, though insane, solution. The agreement is simple. Three months of pretending, staged photos, fake smiles for the cameras, and then we go our separate ways with my bakery debt erased, and his image polished.

But living under the same roof as Jax blurs the lines of our arrangement. His surprisingly gentle touch when he helps me in the kitchen, and the quiet comfort he offers when my bakery stress peaks, it all chips away at my resolve.

Nice story

I enjoyed this story of fake for real. The narration was better than some. I had listened to for virtual voice less pronunciation mistake so that was nice. Would’ve been better if it would’ve been a male voice and a female voice.

Love the story line & feel good story however, having it read by a computer with no feeling was off putting, to say the least. This is putting actors out of work however small the part & I'm sure authors can sympathize. Please get feeling back into your audio book!

Virtual voice….

This story was cute. Moved along well. And the growth from contract to love was sweet. However 2 things I didn’t care for. One since when does a female dog lift its leg to pee? Sorry could not get past that. And the virtual voice… I’m sorry but when they decided VV was a thing. Someone should have put a stop to it.
