Great quick listen!
If you like history, you will love this book! It covers all the major happenings in the history of the United Kingdom and it is an easy read/listen. It is very much a survey of history, rather than a deep in depth look at everything, but I really liked that. It gave me everything I wanted to know, and a bit more, and it was easily digested. Some history books can be so boring and dull and this is definitely NOT one of those. I highly recommend it for anyone that enjoys history and/or just wants to brush up on their British history knowledge.

Excellent synopsis.
Having struggled with history at school I was a little hesitant heading into this book. I was delighted to find the information well organized, concisely written and easy to follow.
This book brought all I had learnt in a disjointed fashion into a streamlined account of events.
Recommend this book for anyone needing a basic outline of key events in the thousand plus years of our history,

Don’t purchase this
Really poorly produced. On more than on occasion, narrator actually repeats himself, saying the same thing twice. Thought it’d be a a good, quick history of the UK before a trip to London, but too quick and not good.
