Another great mystery

I have enjoyed all of the stories in the series as the narrator does such a great job bringing the characters to life. There were several threads in this book but all got happily resolved in the end.

Twists & turns

So many twists and turns in the story. Cameos by people from previous stories and many new people and pets. All of the emotions at the end that brought a tear to my eye.

I love this series!

The latest Mercy Carr book, The Hiding Place by Paula Munier, is a fabulous combination of mystery, suspense and romance! The Audible performance by Kathleen McInerney, added to the author's words with just the right amount of emphasis, tone changes and voice characterizations. I was enthralled from beginning to end of this novel. I can hardly wait for more to come in the future!

One of the Best!

Action packed adventures, mysterious events, spooky rides through narrow windy roads in a white out , bombs, bones and out of sight plot twists, three dog nights , and a hint of romance, too. Truly not a moment of boredom between the covers of this book.

Uncomplicated and easy

Always enjoy books in this series. Engaging, but not overly so. Great for commuting. Love the characters and their development. The descriptions within help the reader imagine being right there.

I laughed out loud, I cried, I couldnt stop listening. I am so looking forward to the next one!

Loved it! We Hope for Book 4

This book is like a book that you just want to sit down and listen to. Just take a lazy day and throw yourself in to the story. I wish I could be Mercy and if fells like you have an emotional attachment to the series. Like you know to book inside out. FINGERS CROSSED FOR BOOK 4!!

A nice "who done it" with descriptive scenes of nature, mystery & romance thrown in.

Hmmm? What’s Going On Here?

I found this book to be a wonderful read. I’ve enjoyed all the books in this series but this one really tugged at my heart strings. There were also a number of surprises as the mystery unfolded. I won’t give anything away because I so liked the twists & turnover that moved the story in. Both author & narrator were excellent.
