Interesting story and great reading
It's been a while since I listened to the first book, but the author does a good job of reminding you what happened without rehashing every detail. I'm excited to see what happens next in the story!

Amazing
I met the author at comic con in New Orleans this past January. I was looking for a good murder mystery and Kelly convinced me to give her books a whirl. I couldn’t stop listening! Downloading book 3 now!

Very invested in this story!
I am really enjoying this story! Having grown up in the Houston area, I really enjoyed being able to picture the setting in my mind. The story is set up very well and moves clearly through all of the character connections and set up scenes without giving too much away. I was hooked, but not lost throughout the whole book. The pace of the narration was excellent and the consistency of the character’s voices made the dialogue easy to follow. I feel like I can really connect the narrator’s voice to the character of Fauna, which is not always my experience with audio books.

Very engaging.
This series is very engaging and I listened to the whole book in almost one day. Brianna Robert does a fantastic job narrating and is able to give each character a unique voice that speaks their personality that allowed me to visualize all the characters.

The story gets better
Book two is a great way to introduce previously mentioned characters and fill out new schemes. The narrator was better on the book also. Can't wait for the next book.
