Ghost story

I agree with other reviewers- The relationship with the couple was not well set up. I felt like we came into the middle and had no depth to commiserate. It also ends on a major cliffhanger- since it was only 3 hours, I'm hoping the next ones are more in-depth and longer.
However, this book is .5, and there is no 1.0. on audible, it skips to 2.0. Unless you want to spend more to buy the 'whole set' and basically repay what you already read in this one.
Either sell them separately and include them all, or just sell the set.
What a ripoff.

Great setup for a sequel!

This book was great! It was detailed, in plot and characters. The story follows easily. It starts in a Good place for the plot to come full circle and includes past info In a relevant and intriguing way. The word choices were good. The characters are relatable. Their personal drama is done well.
The story feels like it could be a movie.

A couple who are struggling through personal issues acquire a mansion at bottom dollar, through their blog- where they detail their renovations and ask for leads to their next. This mansion is in a small town where everyone knows everyone and everything. The story follows Their journey within their personal life, renovations, small town drama, and maybe a ghost?

9/10 recommend. This book is for those who love ghost stories.

The narrator keeps you going and the action keeps you interested.

You had me at Winchester

Love reading anything that has anything to do with the Winchester Mansion. Different from any other story told about the mansion. Quiet enjoybale

Good Mystery, Big Cliffhanger

Content: Mostly clean. One F word.
Spoiler Alert/Trigger Warning: Child Death.

Good mystery. Major cliffhanger ending. It seems it's part of a series, so hopefully it's solved in the next one.

great book

this is a very good read. I will definitely be keeping an eye on this author.

Disconnected Thought

The story seems to be a little disconnected, especially with the couple. I always felt like I was missing something major. The narrator did an amazing job, but even she couldn't save this story. The way it ended was a major turn-off because I still felt like I only got part of the picture. I received this book for free on an audiobook website. I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased review here of my own free will.

great read!

I highly recommend this read, I can't get to the next one fast enough. It has me in it's grasp.
