decent
some good unexpected twists, the reading was ok for a bedtime story but otherwise wasnt expressive enough and was a bit plodding, it took me four tries to get to the ending because it keep putting me to sleep.

Oh, to be Wenlyn, I sigh
I think from this story and the struggles Wenlyn had in his early years that he is most deserving of the gift given to him in this story. I can't wait to read the next story in this series. I was given a copy of this story for an honest review. How lucky for me. I recommend this audiobook/ebook.

Wenlyn is an orphan living in a village. He takes a keen pleasure in causing his master agitation. Then word is that a dragon riding servant is coming to their village.
This is a very short story just to lay the groundwork for further adventures in Wenlyn's story.
Andrew Thacher brings Wenlyn to life as he takes us on this quick journey in the beginning story of Wenlyn.

Fun Fantasy
This was a fun story to listen to. I've not read many dragon books and I find that this one really grabbed me. I'm ready to try some more, especially by this author. I love all of her books in other genres already.
The narrator was good, which always makes the listen much better and brings the characters and story to life.
I requested this audio book from the author and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

Awesome Short
This was a story that we enjoyed from beginning to end, it had great characters and story line, I requested this to listen with my nephew as he loves everything dragons. The narration by Andrew Thacher was good... I would recommend this to others. I received this audiobook review copy from the author and S.O. in exchange for my honest review.

interesting
