I highly recommend this series. I have been binge listening to this and does not disappoint. It has a little bit of everything and is just enjoyable to listen to. I am going back just to leave a 5 star for each book bc I have been listening to them and couldn't wait to get to the next book.

A, "mid-season" book for an episodic series.

The last hunter series has me using audible credits like a gambling addict at a casino. That being said, this book felt the like a, "mid-season" filler episode. The series as a whole is well performed and compelling enough for me to, "tune in next week" for another book. This book will be necessary for the whole story but it may lose some readers as it is a lot of logistical fillers and rushed plot points.

Outstanding story.

This is an outstanding story. JN Cheney hits it out of the park again. Can’t wait for the next novel in this series. Keep up the good work, Mr. Cheney.

Space war and humanity

It was a great installment of the story. The tech is believable and the issues with other factions in the populace makes for a great story. Jeffrey’s voice is perfect to tell the tale.

Excellent world building, expanding on character development, enjoying the now back sizzle of the conspiracy.

I must say, I do enjoy the speed at which these books are created by working with a stable of authors. My only true problem is that they end up VERY SHORT!

I like supporting authors and their creative endeavors, but when there are numerous books with a more expansive story that maybe 15 or more hours, these "short" stories rankle a little.

I would very much like to see some omnibus collections after a year or so after, say, every 3rd book. Just a suggestion.
