Sharp stories but overly familiar territory?

I liked the production values, acting/choice of actors, quite a bit of the humour, modern settings and snappy scene changes BUT too many of these stories felt like they were covering the same territory/story arc - an Englishman with a tough upbringing, and matching accent, tells you how they have won in life despite opposition and adversity. Some listeners will also find the coarse language throughout not to their taste. Even though I don't regret getting this title I probably won't repeat.
