Still a great book after all these years.
I was obsessed with this book back when it first came out in the 80’s. When I came across it here I just had to listen. It’s just as good as I remembered, and took me back there for a while. Kids reading it today won’t understand a few references - the paperboy collecting for example - but I still think this generation will love it as much as I did.

Monotone narration
Really wish audible or whoever picks narrators would consider the audience. And try to pick better narrators the constant speaking rhythm f the narrator throughout the ENTIRE story make it difficult to stick to.

An Amazing book, that u get hook on from the very 1st chapter. The climax of the book is AMAZING 🤩. I wish there was a sequel, an amazing read.
