Young Jerry West has a few problems. His uncle Crispin is broke and employs a butler who isn't all he seems. His other uncle, Willoughby, is rich but won't hand over any of his inheritance. convoluted and fun

Brilliant
The heroes are anti-heroes, the anti-heroes are heroes, and if you don’t find yourself laughing at some point, you’ve got some catching up to do. No one plays on the planet the way Wodehouse did. Hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.

Funny story

A good strong piece of Wodehouse early writing. Entertaining as always. Good reader. After you’ve read all of the Jeeves stories many times and all of the Blandings series many times, it’s good to have more solid Wodehouse to keep your spirits up.
