Goes beyond basic instruction

Who would have ever thought that growing delicious vegetables, fruits, and plants would take so much effort. Now I understand why the people with the best gardens are so knowledgeable in their craft. There were so many interesting facts inside the book that I never even thought of such as over-watering and even saving rain to water your plants later. I noticed a lot of things wrong I was doing in the past and now have a lot more insight to do it right. If you just want a few pointers or want to be a full-on garden master this is a great place to start!

Grandma's gardening tips are the best!

This book is a super fun read and yet gave me all the information I need to make sure my seedlings survive and that I don't over or under water and that they get just the right amount of light and nutrients they need to thrive. I learned so much and definitely feel so much more confident about planting my first garden this year. Thank you Elizabeth Grove for sharing your gardening mistakes and your grandma's tips with us all so we don't have to learn those things the hard way. Must read if you're new to gardening!

Very informational

I really enjoyed that the author shared they “why” behind her reasonings. I am very big at understanding why we would do something before doing it and this book helped answer those questions for me. I would highly recommend this book for beginner gardeners or anyone researching whether or not to begin gardening.

This Audiobook is very informative. I enjoyed listening because the Narrator explained it adequately. It has many useful tips and techniques about gardening. This is the best guide to gardening. I highly recommend this Audiobook.

Most enjoyable gardening book to listen to!

I've been an avid gardener for years, but I do not start my seeds indoors. I hate spending so much money on starter plants each season. I'm so glad I listened to this book.

First of all, I just loved listening to this narrator. I could listen to her all day. Her voice is like one of the best fiction narrators, but this is non-fiction, and she makes listening to it a pleasure.

On top of that, the writing is great. I really enjoyed the use of puns and gentle humor throughout the book. I also appreciated all the definitions. The author would use gardening lingo (some I had heard before and never really knew what it meant) and then afterward define the term in case you (like me) didn't know what it meant.

SO much good information in this book. I definitely plan on listening to it again.

HIGHLY recommend getting this gem. Even if you aren't a gardener, it will inspire you!

Best garden book ever!

and I've actually read ALOT of garden books! This one narrates well and the chapter titles are awesome-- I like the conversational tone and overall information presented here! You get decades of experiential knowledge that can majorly cut the learning curve (and expensive mistakes) and allow one to get an actual crop the first time around! Very cool and very good must have garden book before starting or to help things get better:)

I have always been thinking about increasing my garden's productivity, and I think I found the ultimate guide to do that. This audiobook is truly a masterpiece, prepared for those who love gardening and those who were thinking about starting to plant in their gardens. I enjoyed the listen throughout, and the pro tips included are engaging, easy to follow, and paves the way to be a successful gardener.

Overall, this book provides something more than gardening-taught me to be self-satisfied through gardening, and I realized the worth of having my own garden created through my hobby. I strongly recommend this book!

Lots of great information for every gardener

So many wonderful tips and information to help anyone that is interested in starting their own garden from seeds! She talked about a lot of the issues I've seen with my own seeds and how to prevent them in the future. I've never heard of compost tea but I plan to start using it ASAP after hearing about the benefits it can provide. Can't wait to put all my new knowledge to good use!

Interesting and Informative

This book has very useful information for the backyard gardener. The author and the narrator keeps you interested. The author uses her humor and the narrator reads it as intended. I've read many gardening books in my few years that I've been gardening and this is one book that I will keep refering back to.
