I just want to start by saying that I Love that Lyra links the people across multiple series, it adds a connection that is so fun.
Standalone with No Cliffhangers.
Friends to Lovers. He falls first.
Carlee and Weston worked to get his brother and her best friend together. In the process they became secret best friends.
Can they become more?
He has a crazy ex, or soon to be ex, that Loves drama.
She is having work and personal growth drama.
So much fun with great heat.
I can't wait for Billie's story.
Narrators did any awesome job bringing this story to life.

Entertaining

This is Weston Calloway and Carlee Jolly’s friends to lovers story and is one I really enjoyed.

Their meet cute was entertaining and they quickly became unlikely friends.

When Weston’s nightmare ex starts making trouble be turns to Carlee to help him out and be his fake girlfriend.

However, things are about to become complicated when feelings become involved as the attraction they have both tried to ignore becomes impossible to resist.

Savannah Thomas and Marcio Catalano did a good job of narrating the characters in a variety of voices and brought the story to life for me, doing justice to the story that the author created. Both their voices were easy to listen to and I found myself invested in their performances.

I loved their journey and as the relationship evolved it made for a wonderful read.

Fabulous Story & Narration🎧Engrossing & Charming!

It is great being back in Lyra Parish’s “Billionaire Situation” world again for another wonderful romance novel, a charming friends-to-lover romantic comedy that captivates your attention and tugs at your heartstrings the entire time. After loving the first book, ”The Wife Situation”, Easton Calloway and Lexi’s story, I was not sure how she was going to top that, but she did, and then some. This book is Weston Calloway and Carlee Jolly’s story, written as a standalone, but characters from the first book crossover into this book and knowing their backstories add some depth and there are mentions of some of those character’s storylines. That said, the author’s descriptive details include everything you need to know so you will not feel lost or like you missed something if you are new to the series. Weston is not as grumpy as his twin brother, Easton, but the two share a special bond and similarities, so much so they fill in as one another, sometimes to prank, other times to test how well the person knows them. He and Carlee became good friends while on their joint mission of helping Easton and Lexi’s fake relationship/marriage of convenience turn real. Neither Weston nor Carlee were looking for their own relationship, since he just got out of a terrible marriage, which left him with trust issues, and she had her own reasons. Except there was an undeniable chemistry between them and even with excuses, they could deny themselves for so long. When his wife shows her ugly ways again, he was told once again to have his own fake relationship to rid of her and Carlee volunteers, despite Weston not wanting to ask her. He did not want to cross lines and jeopardize the friendship. I thought those two were great together and for each other. I loved all the layers of this story and how it all played out, with the perfect balance of drama, a touch of angst, charming humor and wit, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. As always, the writing, plot and world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. Lyra Parish, thank you for another fabulous story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Savannah Thomas and Marcio Catalano delivered a fabulous performance, bringing these characters to life naturally, humanizing them and giving each a voice that is fitting. I loved how they took each role and made it their own, sounding convincing in each and just as I imagined the characters to sound. Catalano’s Weston was a spot on portrayal, showcasing his personality perfectly, and Thomas did the same as Carlee and was equally amazing. With perfect pacing and tone, they captured every emotion of the characters, making you feel it all. These two made a great team, with voices and talent that complement each and a captivating performance that rivets you to the story. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.

Weston Calloway is waving all the green flags!

I fall more and more in love with Lyra Parish's writing with each book I read, and the audiobooks just make me fall head over heels, no hope for me, and even if there was, I wouldn't want it. After finishing The Wife Situation I had no thoughts of anyone beating out Easton Calloway for book boyfriend of the year, then along comes his twin brother, Weston Calloway, who was definitely up for the challenge. Savannah Thomas and Marcio Catalano were remarkable as Weston & Carlee. They nailed their personalities to a T and brought their sizzling chemistry to life spectacularly. I loved them as Weston & Carlee!

Weston Calloway may be a reformed playboy, but he was a walking talking green flag when it came to Carlee. These two were both damaged by love when they started their secret friendship. I think they both knew from their initial encounter that they had a special connection, but they had a lot to work through to be what the other person needed. Weston was all in from day one, even though he kept his feelings hidden for quite some time because Carlee was having no parts of falling in love again. The way they supported each other through everything and grew closer along the way was so sweet and written with so much fun and love.

Weston had the patience of a saint when it came to Carlee, but he knew she was end game and worth every day he had to wait for her to catch up. I absolutely loved Carlee and her sassiness. She was the perfect match for Weston. The two were the perfect small-town girl and city boy match because they balanced each other so well. They say friends make the greatest lovers and Weston and Carlee are proof of that.

Everything about their relationship was honest and pure, and their chemistry was off the charts. When she realized his whole "year thing" I was like "oh snap, it's about to be on" and ON IT WAS!

I loved getting more of Easton & Lexi and the rest of their friends and family. I already have my predictions on what couples will be in the next books and I can't wait to see if I'm right!

Perfection - Weston and Carlee 🩷

After reading the first story in the series and loving Easton I was super excited to devour his twin brother, Weston’s story.
Weston and Carlee have the kind of friendship that just makes sense.
Hiding things from others and being a little sneaky for the sake of love is their jam.
However there is more at play here and one of them is aiming for oh, so much more.
I absolutely loved how this story played out and enjoyed every single minute of it.
Superb storytelling by Lyra and an amazing narration by Savannah Thomas and Marcio Catalano.

Swoony and sweet

Those Calloway twins are mischievous and so much fun. “The Friend Situation” is a swoony, flirty and sweet friends to lovers billionaire romance that was a fun addition to the series.

Carlee and Weston successfully played matchmaker for her bestie and his twin, Lexi and Easton, and have remained close friends since then. Easton and Lexi think they don’t know each other but they have been friends for almost a year and Lexi thinks they're destined to be together. Weston is in the middle of a messy divorce and asks Carlee to be his fake girlfriend to help with some of the drama. The rule is to not fall in love but things have been slowly building between them over the last year.

I loved Weston and Carlee from the first book and I’m happy we got their story next. Weston is a classic extrovert who loves being around people and poking fun at his twin brother. He will do anything to help his family and friends and that shines throughout the story. Under that sunshine attitude was a guy who wanted happiness his brother had since his marriage turned out to be toxic. Carlee was just who he was looking for but he had to wait so she wouldn’t feel pressure. I loved that she had worked at the same hotel as Lexi but also had a secret blog that kept her going. Carlee is smart, genuine and is the kindest person you could ever meet. I can see why Weston was enraptured with her from the beginning because I would be too. The chemistry was there and I loved all the teasing they did before they became friends with benefits. Once they gave into their feelings, they were unstoppable and I loved them as a couple. The ending was perfect for them and I can’t wait to listen to the next book in the series.

Marico Catalano and Savannah Thomas narrated as Weston and Carlee and they were so much fun to listen to. Marcio was great as the charismatic Weston, I loved how he brought his fun and serious side alive. Savannah brought out Carlee’s genuine and sweet personality alive perfectly.
