Classic - required reading

Great personal finance book. Also entertaining. I would consider it required reading for those interested in managing their own assets.

Great book for fundamentals

It was a great book with valuable insights. But you have to take them as thematic vs contemporaneous since it is more dated perspectives than implied. The book was written in early 2000s, hence some dated references. But the themes and insights are pretty timeless. In other words, focus on the principles in he book and ignore specific references to market conditions etc.

Fundamentals For All Investors

I think this book has the biggest impact on experienced investors. we can appreciate the message.

Interesting and thought provoking fundamentals in investing

A bit heavy on numbers, probably more useful to be read as a book rather than an audiobook. However, this audiobook outlines nany sobering lessons and principles in investing.

Must listen for any investor and many lessons in portfolio management and planning.

out of date

The author comes across as a stodgy old fart who hates ETFs.

To his credit, he strongly advises against owning long-term government bonds.
