I really enjoyed The Five and a Half Questions Everyone Must Answer. I found it to be inspirational and excellent for life application. Joe’s use of illustrations, images, and scriptural application held my attention and interest throughout. A wonderful read for personal growth.

A Direction-Changing Book

I both read and heard this book, and the content is so edifying and eye-opening! This book has really helped me gain a greater perspective on life, and encouraged me to pursue my purposeful identity without fear. I highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to experience a turning point in their lives toward a more plentiful living.

A Practical Book written for Critical Times

I thouroughly enjoyed the book. I thought that the questions that Joe expounded on were timely, relevant and most needed to be discussed by men as Christians strive to be Christ-Centered and work hard to find their identity as men in Christ. I believe that the book is a must read as a part of a Men's Bible Study, or as a part of a Christian man's personal library It is also good for couples and women as well.

A handbook for a successful life!

Confession; I'm the narrator of Five And A Half Questions Everyone Must Answer. As such, it places me in a unique category in that I have not only read the book, I've had to read and study each chapter as I attempted to convey author Joe Pellegrino's attitude as he intended. I admit, in listening back to my read, I didn't always reach my expectations in some cases where certain inflections may not be exactly what Joe intended. Joe Pellegrino uses questions in order to encourage readers (listeners) to think deeply about themselves and how their Brand is observed by others. Joe, through his seminars and conferences encourages and empowers while challenging everyone to rise above their present circumstance. In this book, he accomplishes this through his telling of stories, his own and others, which reveal the steps that must be taken in order to change our life's trajectory. You see, it's not about what others do to us, it's what we can and should do about it that makes all the difference. The battles we face are against the principalities of darkness, but the light of Jesus Christ can be switched on to chase away the darkness of failure. This, to me, is the overriding message I was asked to convey. I hope I've met that standard.

Joe Pellegrino is authentic and transparent; openly discussing his personal journey to re-create himself as a Godly Man. I love the way Joe loves the Lord. He is a friend, a confidant and a Kingdom warrior. His teachings are having an impact on men of all ages around the world. He has a heart for God like few others I have known.

The formula is simple. Listen to or read the book; do the exercises and practice what you are learning on a daily basis. You will discover God’s unique purpose for you and change the course of your life.

Manual For Successful Change

Five and a Half questions everyone must answer is a handbook to use toward positive change. Understanding each of the principals will help you really understand who you are so that you can work toward becoming the true man or woman God has destined you to become. Working through each of the questions will give you a cognitive understanding of what you are about and help you identify areas that you can start to work on to make long lasting changes. Most of the people I know want to make a difference. This book will help you become someone that others want to know and follow.

For me personally, I think meditating on question 4, (What is your brand?), really spoke to me. It helped me realize that when others think of me, something immediately comes to mind. Yes, it may be what I do. Or, particular personality traits. But whatever it is, I am now asking: is that what I want to be the first thing they think of? Joe Pellegrino shows that having consistency and integrity will really help me to be identified by others in the way I know I really want.

Throughout this book Joe has made himself vunerable and showed his journey to becoming the man he is today. His willingness to open up areas of his life that most would never reveal, make him a believable and authentic writer. Someone I want to learn from.

One last thought. I found that I needed to listen to the audio book two times in order to really soak up the material. I suggest you do the same. It seems like the second time through was what I needed to really fully grasp the concepts he has laid out.

Answers a lot of questions I had.

I highly recommend this book for those who seek to sharpen their Iron. Joe has excellent insights.

A compelling and Necessary Read for everyone

In life, we are tasked with a plethora of problems, possibilities, and probabilities. All of which test our faith and resolve. I was so delighted to have experienced the audio version of this awesome book The Five and a half Questions Everyone Must Answer. In focusing on my strengths I was amazed at how powerful I really am. Yet at the same time, I was almost embarrassed at the weaknesses and character issues that I was able to ascertain. If we are honest with ourselves there are areas that we excel in that should be highlighted and greenlighted. I can truthfully say that I have all too often downplayed my strengths and allowed my weaknesses to rule.

When I started looking at who I allow in my inner areas and what role and or significance they play I was again aghast. Character is so important yet I have allowed individuals of less than stellar attributes to occupy important high-level space. I can see now how their presence has influenced and ultimately impacted my choices, chances, and conversation.

In answering the questions in the quadrant of weakness awareness I was hit hard. I can see some of the areas that I was less than honest with myself, my family, and others that matter most to me. I have observed myself sacrificing quality time that should be shared with loved ones, for the prospect of getting another dollar instead of making a difference. The quality of these questions should (and did) impact me. I have had to thoroughly question every aspect of my life. I have been dishonest with myself to a fault and yet did so with the intention of leveraging my time, talent, and treasure.

When these core quality questions are answered with integrity and intentionality, I believe a foundation can be built that will allow an individual to grow and flow into a more excellent version of themselves. The tools presented and the methodology utilized will cause a deep dive into not only a person's intrinsic understanding of themselves but will cause an extrinsic transformation that can lead to greater growth, true transformation and an ultimate utilization of the salient qualities God gifted every man.

Those that circumvent this process will only do so to escape the raw exposure it evokes. Anyone wishing to scale and become a more excellent person will value and validate these principles and answer the most important question of all...WHY!
