Kim's poems reflecting on the grace of God inspire the reader to higher things, and his poems focusing on the suffering of Jesus Christ for His people will move the readers to tears.
Furthermore, his poetic reflections are a window into the particular experience of Korean evangelical Christians living in the USA. Majority of the Koreans living in the USA are evangelical Christians, so this book will help the reader to understand her Korean neighbors better.
