Edge of my seat book just like the first..

I had no idea there was going to be or is another book out there about this.. being book 3? I'm so very ready to learn what is going to happen. I loved this book as did I loved the first .

Great engaging plot and characters. I also learned some interesting facts about the Middle East history and roots of the current conflicts,

outstanding thriller you can't put down

loved it. non stop action great plot. you will not want to put this book down until the end.

Awesome follow-up to Third Target!

At the end of Third Target, I couldn't wait for this book to come out. The wait was worth it! Very good book, action packed and perfect end to the story. I've enjoyed everything I've read by this author. Highly recommended.

Left me wanting

I enjoyed the story, but the ending left me wanting more. l got no closure.

Joel Rosenberg is an extremely prolific author. Once you read/listen to one of his books, you'll be hooked! I highly recommend this story to you!

I thoroughly enjoyed this two book series. I couldn't wait to get back into the car to hear more of the story. It was exciting from the beginning to the end!

Even at eight years old, still relevant. Many things still the same. Look at the war in Israel.

I have read all of Joel's books and he continues to amaze me. His stories are timely and thought-provoking... and The First Hostage is no exception!
I do recommend reading The Third Target first, as this is the second book in a series. If you like action-packed geopolitical thrillers, then listen to this series!
The First Hostage fast-paced, gripping, totally entertaining and will leave you on the edge of your seat!

Riveting and exciting

Joel Rosenberg is an amazing "current events" author. One can totally envision his stories happening and I have read some of his work that actually did happen. I do hope this one doesn't come true but in the times we are living it certainly can. I enjoy this author also because the language is clean. If only other authors could realize that obscene language is not necessary to a story. David deVries is a most excellent performer. I am really saddened the story has ended but it was left in a continuing mode which I hope to see happen. This was the 2nd book in a series.
I will listen to this narrator again and certainly will the author
