Teen matures emotionally
Narrator is very good. I chose this book because I really liked another book by same author and same narrator. Fill-in Boyfriend is about a high school student body president, snobby and sticking to her clique, soon to graduate high school. The main weakness of the story is I did not have much sympathy for the main character. Also I did not relate to the southern California lifestyle, where teens drive their cars to school, party at the beach, and go out to lunch. But this is a good cautionary story about knowing who is really your friend and getting away from so-called friends who are not really.

Kasie West continues writing the best YA books ever and this one scores just as high as all her rest. Excellent plot with unexpected twists and exceptional characterizations, and the writing was a delight to listen to—texcellent literature

Not what I thought - great story
I enjoyed this book and enjoyed the mystery of it that I wasn't exptecting. Not my typcial book but really glad I got it. The narration was fantastic and made the book even more enjoyable
