Incredible, a Warhammer book for the ages!

Just.... Wow. it was so well written and preformed, well done GW. I'll definitely keep an eye out for more.

CADIA STANDS!!!

I love that the author is an ex military man like myself, his shout out to S. Korea my home country was pretty neat that he drew inspiration from there. This story is great I didn't want to ruin anyone's experience by giving any hints while writing a review of this book. The story was engaging and worth every minute to listen to via audible and everyone should listen to this one.

I thought besides how OP Abaddon was it was a great book. A great depiction of 40K lore

The narrator did a superb job with his performance. Every character had a unique and believable voice.

Story had a quick ending that felt slightly rushed. However it was not a major setback.

What a journey. This book broke me. The brutality, heroism, sacrifice, devastation and dedication. A must read for 40k fans

The fricken planet broke before we did

I am a combat veteran of both Iraq and Afghanistan, I like to believe I am a hard man. This book made me weep, it blows everything else in 40k out of the water, “this is my foxhole, this is my home” took me right back to Iraq in 2008 decorating a tiny Christmas tree with my chumate with .50 brass, and dip cans. It takes a fantastical story in space that I already knew the ending to and somehow makes it so human and real that it touched on my own memories of war. This is everything that is great about 40k, it is grim dark, it is the dying of the light, but it is also a tale of the indomitable will of humanity and the refusal to go quiet into the night

So much action!

A pretty epic tale told from various perspectives. Cool to see Grayfax, Trazyn and so many other characters brought to life.

Strong narration

Good overview of a very complex battle in 40k lore. Enjoyed the length of detail

Cadia Stands, While the Galaxy Burns...

Robert Rath is an AMAZING author, and he crushed it with this book. If you're a big fan of the Imperial Guard and Cadians, this one that I highly recommend you listen to.

Also, if you are a fan of Chaos, I would also recommend it! I'm not a Choas fan, but even I was I interested in their plot developments.

A book worthy of moving the lore forward.

Fantastic writing that kept me engaged throughout. I was wondering about halfway through how all the individual plot lines would be resolved, and was very satisfied by the end. Lots of glorious last stands and "For the Emperor!" moments for Imperial Guard fans. Overall a more than satisfactory story for the fall of Cadia and if you are looking for high stakes action you will not be left wanting.
