Worth the credit

Let me
Start by saying this collection id over 25 hours of content for the low price of 1 credit. It was so worth the listen too. I have not listened to many audiobooks narrated by Kieran Flitton, but I think he did a great job with the narration of the various stories.

Also, every story is a MM retelling of classic fairy tales. If you like a bit of historical romance and remakes of classic tales, this set is definitely for you.

Very Enjoyable Retellings

Overall, this was a very enjoyable listen. I read Thorn in His Side, but listening to it was just fantastic. Way better then what I had imagined in my head. I thought A Right Royal Affair was a little slow for my taste in the beginning, but the last three or so hours I was hooked. Hair Out of Place had lots going on and I enjoyed it. All the couples in these stories were really sweet and I liked the connection between them all. I will definitely be re-listening to this audio.

Kieran Flitton did an amazing job. He gave each character their own voices. During the emotional parts he did such a great job I felt myself get emotional right along side the characters. I can’t wait to hear more from Flitton as he is a wonderful narrator.

OMG! The third time I listened to this story it dawned on me that the fairy tale is Repunzel!!!

Fantastic retelling

I’m a sucker for re-telling and these were based off some of my favorite stories with my favorite MM tropes! They were heartfelt touching sexy and swoony. The narration was really enjoyable and they’re a nice easy listen. You can’t beat the deal of this many for one credit

First off these were some of thee best performances I've listened to. I loved these versions of known fairy tales. ❤️❤️

Narration makes this bundle

I have to say I enjoyed listening to all of these more than I did reading them. Other than the first I liked that one the best. They're all modernized and retold fairy tales with some interesting twists. A Right Royal Affair is a super sweet modern day fairy tale, pretty low angst with a slower burn. A Thorn in his side has some some twists here and there. For me some of it was done really well, like the evil villain but then there's Daruis' character which felt underdeveloped with his back story not really fully explained I guess. A Hair out of Place was really just all around better in audio. Flitton is such a gifted narrator and really brought a different perspective to each of the stories and brought them to life for me.

Love It!

These are heartfelt, fast-paced stories that I didn’t want to stop listening to. The characters are what have me loving these stories so much. The main characters are complex, interesting, with flaws making them realistic and believable. The characters drive these stories and had me wanting to know what was going to happen next. The narrator does a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life and giving each their own unique voice. I ran through several emotions while listening to these stories from anger, crying, and laughing. It was a fun and entertaining listen.

Fairlytale Retellings!

I absolutely loved this MM fairytale retellings book bundle.

I took a week and a half to finish this one, and I loved each and every tale.

The stories were wholesome, sweet and romantic.

The narrator performed an amazing audio delivery and narration.

Three Wonderfully Narrated Fairy Tale Retellings

I love fairy tale retellings and hurt/comfort trope romances, so I was in heaven listening to this audio book bundle - and all the more so thanks to the delicious voice and British accents of skilled narrator Kieran Flitton, who delivered compelling performances for all three books.

"Thorn in His Side" was my favorite of the three books, mainly because I adore the Beauty & the Beast fairy tale, and appreciated the author's adaptation with an opposites-attract arranged marriage/fake relationship, villainous father, some action/suspense, and soooo much heart-squeezing hurt/comfort. Joshua is sweet and innocent where Darius is gruff and jaded, but both are endearing, loving, and deep-feeling characters who make a delightfully unconventional (and smokin' hot) couple. Their hard-won HEA isn't all magic and roses, but is a swoony fairy tale ending all its own.

I'd already listed to the fun 5-star Rapunzel retelling "Hair Out of Place," which is a sweet opposites attract/age gap love story. I received this free review copy audio book bundle by request and have left this honest review voluntarily.
