Great detail of historic period

Enjoyed the historic details, the depth of character development. A great read and looking forward to the next book in the series.

RECOMMEND!! The series follows closely the history of English settling in Australia.
great writing, character development, & visual. You are there. I am overjoyed I found the series & purchased every book at once. Simon Slater is my favorite narrator, A talented musician,/composer/ actor. Finally an entertaining, intelligent series performed entirely by Simon Slater and available in the US. . about time.
I am about to start on book 5.
