One Old Testament passage seized the imagination of the early Church - and directed Christian hearts and minds toward the Eucharist. It was the oracle of Malachi 1:11, and it was cited (like Isaiah’s Suffering Servant oracles) to prove the identity of the Messiah through his church and his sacrament.

Another great listen from Mike Aquilina
Mike Knox, another one out of the park. If you ever read any of his books, you know that he is probably the foremost expert on Early church history. His portrayal of the Eucharist being foretold in Malachi revealed Jesus in a whole new light, as being presented as the perfect sacrifice that we as Catholics get to partaken, every time we go to mass. This book does not, and will not disappoint if you’re considering listening to it!
