Grace Livingston Hill was a particularly prolific author, writing well over 100 novels. One of the key among these was The Enchanted Barn.
The Enchanted Barn, like much of Hill’s work, centers around a young, wholesome Christian family and we follow them through trials and tribulations as they make, with a little help from their venerable and forward thinking landlord, an old stone barn into the house of their dreams. Hill masterfully transports the listener to the quaint and picturesque rural America at the beginning of the 20th century.

Lovely Story/Poor Narrator
I could hardly get through this lovely story due to the narrator's strange cadence. She had a pretty singing voice, but her speaking style needs some work.

Narrator
I have always enjoyed books by Grace Livingston Hill. This book is is a good read. The narrator was hard to listen to, especially when she talked for Doris the little sister. She talked way to babyish. Certainly hope she didn't do very many of Grace Livingston Hill books
