In The Dying Wilds, the final book in the Kingdom of Erishum Trilogy, Vallen and Nyssa venture back into the perilous Dying Wilds on a mission to save five Tributes from a sacrificial ritual. Hidden within their fortified campsite and equipped with magical wellspring water, they steel themselves against the lethal hyvas in their quest to rescue the innocent victims.
Once Vallen and Nyssa free the captives, their plan to return to Puzur is dashed when they discover the ruin that Erishum has become since they escaped. King Jorek must be stopped, and they are the only ones ready to stand against him.
In the trilogy’s gripping climax, the former gutter rats will rise to fight for their people–if they can survive the Dying Wilds first.

Perfect Trilogy Conclusion
What a satisfying conclusion to this dystopian trilogy! In fact, it is so skillfully completed that it absolutely exceeded my expectation. The plot is intricate and full of twists I did not see coming; the different storylines are fascinating and involve both joy and tragedy; the characters have vivid growth, showing courage, loyalty, and determination. The narration of the audiobook brings the characters to even greater definition. Definitely recommend...this will stay with me for a long time.

The Ending was Great
I enjoyed book three as much as the first two books in the trilogy. My attention was grabbed from the opening paragraphs until the end as I had to find out what happened. I liked Nyssa and Vallen. I admired their commitment to each other and to their desire to save their people. I was entertained by the twists and the almost non-stop action. I was sad that the final chapter of Nyssa's and Vallen's story was complete. I was entertained by Janine Granda's narration, and her performance added to my enjoyment of the story. I received a complimentary copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.
