Excellent narration!

Very interesting historical war novel that included Intrigue and romance (tastefully done). Based on a true story, I appreciated the photos in the accompanying PDF as well as the author’s concluding remarks. The narrator did a marvelous job of switching voices and accents. I gave a four-star rating for the story just because modern expressions and colloquialisms were used when the story was set in the 1940’s.

Great Book!

I read the Ross Code and The Alice Network and the Huntress. I loved all of them and this is one to add to the collection. I loved how she tied in characters from the huntress into this book. Book characters and author shows how much women ROCK! Can’t wait for the next book!

What a fantastic book.

Based on the true story of the most famous female Russian sniper in WW 2. As always a great read. But even more so when I looked up Lady Death and found so much of this novel to be true.
READ IT! It’s great.

Kate Quinn Delivers … Again

Great story and great performance.

Only disappointment is that I have no more Quinn books to read/listen to. Can’t wait for the next one!!

A wonderful read

Such a good book! And the narrator was a voice perfect for the book! I enjoyed every minute of it.

a story which rings true of history of WW2

This book kept my interest for a 10 hr drive. it held my interest and I loved the character development of the main character. although married she grew from a bullied child to a national hero in charge of herself and responsible for men who respected her. as well as the men who loved her.
for me this was a continuation of looking at world war II after reading "the rose code"
The narration was well done.
The ending was so very different than her normal life of being a sniper. So much more rushed and spur the moment. I think it should flexibility on the part of the character. It was a good way to tie all the loose ends together.

Already a Kate Quunn fan but this is her best!

Terrific narration of a brilliantly written tale of WWII heroism, femininity and dedication. This book goes to the head of my list of Kate Quinn books. I love that her writing just gets better and better!

Always a page turner

I am always impressed with the level of intensity, story, and information I learn from Kate’s books, this book is my second favorite of hers only to the Alice Network! Love that’s I found these and the story’s of these heroines. Wonderful read!
