When a weathered journal washes ashore on a desolate coastline, it reveals a haunting tale of The Marrow, a ship lost to the sea centuries ago. The journal, discovered by a solitary fisherman, tells the terrifying last entries of Callum, a sailor who witnessed something monstrous lurking beneath the waves.
His final words are a warning. “Beware the depths below."
Marine archaeologist Charlotte is drawn to the mystery of The Marrow. When a fisherman brings her the cursed journal, she becomes obsessed with uncovering the ship’s fate. Leading an expedition aboard the Persephone, Charlotte and her team dive deep into the ocean to locate the wreck, but they quickly discover more than just sunken ruins. Black coral pulses with unnatural energy, and eerie figures move within the shadows of the deep.
As Charlotte unravels the mystery, the sea reveals its terrifying truth. The Marrow was not just claimed by the waves, it was taken by an ancient, malevolent force, a god of the depths demanding a sacrifice. When members of her crew begin to vanish, Charlotte realises the journal’s warnings were true, and the same fate claiming The Marrow now threatens the Persephone.
In a desperate race against time, Charlotte must confront the ancient power lurking below before it drags her and her team to the same watery grave.
The Depths Below is a gripping tale of terror, where the ocean hides more than just secrets, it hides something watching and waiting. Will Charlotte survive the horrors awaiting beneath the surface, or will she become the next victim of the sea's ancient curse?
