Stoker's first published story
This is beautifully written and beautifully performed. It sounds more like poetry then a story. The story is not really scary, but is intense with feeling. It is written in three parts from the perspective of three different people. The first part is very intense with sentences like "He gazed with bursting eye balls.". The ending is a surprise.
The narrator is excellent.
