Take a brief walk back in time to learn more about how each of these documents was created, who developed the text, and who ultimately signed these powerful writings that dictate the rules and laws of our democracy. Listen about the Amendments to the Constitution, the year each was ratified, and memorable dates in history surrounding these declarations.
Collection highlights:
- Declaration of Independence (1776)
- Constitution of the United States (1787)
- Bill of Rights (ratified 1791)
- The 27 Amendments
- Founding Father biographies: George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, James Monroe, and Benjamin Franklin

In American Marxism, Mark Levin explained how Marxist ideology has invaded our society and culture. In doing so, he exposed the institutions, scholars, and activists leading the revolution. Now, he picks up where he left off: to hold responsible the true malefactors steering our country down the wrong path. Insightful and hard-hitting as ever, Levin proves that since its establishment, the Democrat Party has set out to rewrite history and destroy the foundation of freedom in America.

Americans wage many of today’s fiercest policy debates and culture wars over constitutional meaning. It’s because constitutional law is so fundamental to our democracy that law schools across the country teach the subject. It's the area of law that determines what federal and state governments are permitted to do, and what rights you have as an individual citizen of the US. Here, you'll get the same accessible, well-rounded introduction to constitutional law as a typical law student - but with the added benefit of noted constitutional scholar Eric Berger's brilliant insights.

Turning the other cheek does not mean standing by while the enemies of God dismantle Christian civilization and brainwash our children. Decrying the cowardice that masquerades as meekness, Eric Metaxas summons the Church to battle. An attenuated and unbiblical “faith” based on what Bonhoeffer called “cheap grace” has sapped the spiritual vitality of millions of Americans. Paying lip service to an insipid “evangelism,” they shrink from combating the evils of our time. Metaxas refutes the pernicious lie that fighting evil politicizes Christianity.

Paine not only spurred his fellow Americans to action but soon came to symbolize the spirit of the Revolution itself. His persuasive pieces, written so elegantly, spoke to the hearts and minds of all those fighting for freedom from England.

Critical race theory is one of the hottest and most controversial topics in the world today, but what is it, really? Rightly understood, critical race theory is a reinvention of an older, terrible idea, Marxism, using race "as the central construct for understanding inequality" in place of economic class. That is, critical race theory is race Marxism. The evidence of this claim is so overwhelming upon even casual examination that it is a shock that it isn't immediately plain to everyone who encounters it.

There’s a new invisible force at work in our economic and cultural lives. It affects every advertisement we see and every product we buy, from our morning coffee to a new pair of shoes. “Stakeholder capitalism” makes rosy promises of a better, more diverse, environmentally friendly world, but in reality, this ideology, championed by America’s business and political leaders, robs us of our money, our voice, and our identity.

After winning the war for independence from Great Britain, the 13 adopted the Articles of Confederation as their system of government. However, the Articles proved to be ineffective, and only a few short years after gaining its independence, the young country was headed for fracture and failure. In the summer of 1787, 12 of the states (Rhode Island excepted) sent delegates to Philadelphia in a last-ditch effort to fix the Articles. But it soon became clear that the problems facing the young country were too great for the Articles of Confederation to address, even in an amended form. Thus, the delegates created a new Constitution.

Many Americans view Andrew Jackson as a frontiersman who fought duels, killed Indians, and stole another man's wife. Historians have traditionally presented Jackson as a man who struggled to overcome the obstacles of his backwoods upbringing and helped create a more democratic United States. In his compelling new biography of Jackson, Mark R. Cheathem argues for a reassessment of these long-held views, suggesting that in fact "Old Hickory" lived as an elite southern gentleman.

In 1789, James Madison and James Monroe ran against each other for Congress-the only time that two future presidents have contested a congressional seat. But what was at stake, as author Chris DeRose reveals in Founding Rivals: Madison vs. Monroe, the Bill of Rights, and the Election That Saved a Nation, was more than personal ambition. This was a race that determined the future of the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the very definition of the United States of America.

For more than 20 years since his New York Times best seller Don't Know Much About History first appeared, Davis has shown that Americans don't hate history, just the dull version dished out in school. Now Davis turns his attention to what is arguably the most important and most fascinating subject in American history: our presidents. From the heated debates over executive powers through the curious election of George Washington in 1789 and, for more than 200 years, up through the meteoric rise of Barack Obama, the presidency has been at the heart of American history.

No member of America's founding generation had a greater impact on the Constitution and the Supreme Court than John Marshall, and no one did more to preserve the delicate unity of the fledgling United States. From the nation's founding in 1776 and for the next 40 years, Marshall was at the center of every political battle. As Chief Justice of the United States - the longest-serving in history—he established the independence of the judiciary and the supremacy of the federal Constitution and courts.

The life of John Marshall, founding father and America's premier chief justice. In 1801, a genial and brilliant Revolutionary War veteran and politician became the fourth chief justice of the US. He would hold the post for 34 years (still a record), expounding the Constitution he loved. Before he joined the Court, it was the weakling of the federal government, lacking in dignity and clout. After he died, it could never be ignored again.

Historia
Born in 1736, Patrick Henry was an attorney and a planter and an outstanding orator in the movement for independence. A contemporary of Washington, Henry stood with John and Samuel Adams among the leaders of the colonial resistance to Great Britain that ultimately created the United States. The first governor of Virginia after independence, he was reelected several times. After declining to attend the Constitutional Convention of 1787, Henry opposed the Constitution, arguing that it granted too much power to the central government.

Instead of the system that the Constitution intended, judges have created a system in which bureaucrats and appointed officials make most of the important policies. While the government claims to be a representative republic, somehow hot-button topics from gay marriage to the allocation of Florida's presidential electors always seem to be decided by unelected judges. What gives them the right to decide such issues? The judges say it's the Constitution.

Thomas Jefferson designed his own tombstone, describing himself simply as "Author of the Declaration of Independence and of the Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom, and Father of the University of Virginia". It is in this simple epitaph that R. B. Bernstein finds the key to this enigmatic Founder - not as a great political figure, but as leader of "a revolution of ideas that would make the world over again". In Thomas Jefferson, Bernstein offers the definitive short biography of this revered American - the first concise life in six decades. Bernstein deftly synthesizes the massive scholarship on his subject into a swift, insightful, evenhanded account.

What a Find! Engaging And Informative!
The Constitution of the United States, Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence, and Founding Father Biographies
George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, Benjamin Franklin, and Others are not just names in history books but individuals with compelling and inspiring life stories. Understanding their struggles and achievements can evoke empathy and inspiration as we realize their human side.
Franklin was a writer who experimented with electricity, invented bi-focal glasses, cared for his illegitimate son, and built colleges in addition to his political life. Thomas Jefferson was the son of a plantation owner and 3rd of 10 children. His father died when he was only 14, and he inherited the plantation. He enslaved people and thought blacks were inferior. His education was in law, and his life a politician, as we know him. This audiobook provides a comprehensive understanding of our founding fathers and the Constitution, making it an invaluable educational resource that will leave readers feeling informed and enlightened.

An important reminder of our country's history
Sure I learned about the Constitution, Bill of Rights, and our Founding Fathers in elementary school. But did I remember any of it? Certainly not! This collection is an important reminder to every one of the foundational theories, principles, and laws that the U.S. was established on. In many ways, these principles have been misinterpreted and morphed into something other than their original intention. This was a stern and important reminder of the thinking by the Founding Fathers in their quest to establish a democratic society. I highly recommend every American listen to this audio collection and even go back and review the documents again to have a clear understanding of their meaning and intentions.

I appreciate this audiobook because it provides a service that is needed for all Americans. Very few Americans understand the constitution and bill of rights or how they USA was formed. The founding fathers created one of the best documents in the world, even today. We have our rights because of what they created.

To know that what we stand for, what we fight for, and what are we against, what are our ground rules. The words and wisdoms from our founding fathers are so powerful. They came to these final terms not without debates and fighting and sacrifices. we must study these carefully, and stand by these unquestionably.

The way it’s written feels super easy to follow.
I didn’t know much about the Constitution or the Founding Fathers before reading this, and honestly, I realized how clueless I was about where our rights come from. This book really made me stop and think about how much work went into building this country. These guys weren’t perfect, but they fought for something bigger than themselves, and it’s wild to think how much we benefit from that today. It made me appreciate stuff I’d never even thought about before. If you’ve ever felt like you should know more about the roots of this country, this book will really hit home.

Great information but gets a bit boring
The book has a lot of very useful information and is a must listen for everyone who wants to fully understand the political world. I, personally, found it a bit slow at certain points, but really good book otherwise
