Great book! Ok reader
These Chronicles are always a great read. Unfortunately, the reader this time had a tendency to drop the volume so low for some of his dialog that he was inaudible. it made listening very difficult. I either had to have the book uncomfortably loud, or just know that I was going to miss some of the talk.

Sexy romance and compelling plot
Excellent narration, plot, and romance. An ancient Roman vibe with light fantasy elements. Wholeheartedly enjoyed this series!

Book one is 40% graphic sex. Book 2 has a plot.
Book 2 has plot and character development.
Book 3: I hope it lands more smoothly than book 1.
The switch from book 1 to 2 was a surprise. It almost seemed as if it was an arbitrary cut point in the middle of a phrase.
