I did get a lot out of this book because I have a Border Collie puppy and everything he says about them is true. I loved this book and recommended highly.

Very high level

I was hoping for a bit more in depth information on training techniques. This is more an overall guide to dog ownership with a few specificities for border collies. Good for anyone who might want some very basic info on the breed though.

Mostly for someone who’s never had a dog

I’ve had many dogs before, I purchased this book because I had a new Border Collie. I only learned a few things about the breed. The rest of the book was mostly focused on common knowledge of having a dog.
