Acerca de esta escucha
In this follow up to her best-selling book The Children of Now, Meg Losey revisits the Indigo children and discuss who they are becoming and their growing influence changing society for the better. Specifically, this audiobook addresses the following:
- Who are the Crystalline Children, Indigos, and Star Kids?
- What are their traits?
- Where do they come from and why are they here?
- Are we living in a time of accelerated evolution of human consciousness?
Losey offers concrete information parents need to have and provides direction for what schools, families, and societies can do to help all the different types of the Children of Now function and flourish. Too often these children as mislabeled as ADD or ADHD or worse. She also addresses the metaphysical realities that these children (and others) perceive. There may not be monsters in the closet or under the bed, but these highly-evolved children may actually be "seeing" things that their parents cannot. Finally, she paints a picture of what our world will look like when the "Children of Now" take over.
With new research and reports from the field, Children of Now Evolution is even more important to the families of today and tomorrow.

Historia
The Children of Now is a groundbreaking work that shows that a large number of kids come into the world bearing inherent gifts that are beyond strange - they are telepathic, understand subtle energies, and/or have amazing psychic abilities. Many of them remember where they were before they came to Earth and often can describe past lives.
Many doctors mislabel them as autistic, ADD, ADHD, or suggest other behavioral difficulties. More than half the time, these doctors are wrong.

These people are called "Indigo," because the color indigo (the color seen in the "third eye") is unusually prominent in their aura.

Have you ever wondered "Why did I do that?" or "Why can't I just control my behavior?" Others may judge our reactions and think, "What's wrong with that person?" When questioning our emotions, it's easy to place the blame on ourselves; holding ourselves and those around us to an impossible standard. It's time we started asking a different question. Through deeply personal conversations, Oprah Winfrey and renowned brain and trauma expert Dr. Bruce Perry offer a groundbreaking and profound shift from asking “What’s wrong with you?” to “What happened to you?”

Two-thirds of us have experienced at least one adverse childhood experience, or ACE, such as abuse, neglect, parental substance dependence, or mental illness. Even though these events may have occurred long ago, they have the power to haunt us long into adulthood, and now we have found that they may even contribute to lifelong illness. Dr. Nadine Burke Harris, the founder/CEO of the Center for Youth Wellness and recipient of the Arnold P. In Europe, hypertension is diagnosed in more than 30 percent of the population. And everywhere, adolescent mental illness is on the rise. So what is really “normal” when it comes to health?

Historia
A veteran clinical psychologist exposes why doctors, teachers, and parents incorrectly diagnose healthy American children with serious psychiatric conditions. In recent years there has been an alarming rise in the number of American children and youth assigned a mental health diagnosis. Current data from the Centers for Disease Control reveal a 41 percent increase in rates of ADHD diagnoses over the past decade and a forty-fold spike in bipolar disorder diagnoses. Historia
The memoir of a neuroscientist whose research led him to a bizarre personal discovery, James Fallon had spent an entire career studying how our brains affect our behavior when his research suddenly turned personal. While studying brain scans of several family members, he discovered that one perfectly matched a pattern he’d found in the brains of serial killers. This meant one of two things: Either his family’s scans had been mixed up with those of felons or someone in his family was a psychopath.

Between the ages of twelve and twenty-four, the brain changes in important and, at times, challenging ways. In Brainstorm, the renowned psychiatrist and bestselling author of Parenting from the Inside Out, The Whole-Brain Child, and Mindsight, Daniel Siegel busts a number of commonly held myths about adolescence — for example, that it is merely a stage of “immaturity” filled with often “crazy” behavior — to reveal how it is in fact a vital time in our lives in terms of charting the course for the adults we ultimately become.

The Self Illusion provides a fascinating examination of how the latest science shows that our individual concept of a self is in fact an illusion. Most of us believe that we possess a self - an internal individual who resides inside our bodies, making decisions, authoring actions and possessing free will. The feeling that a single, unified, enduring self inhabits the body is compelling and inescapable. But that sovereignty of the self is increasingly under threat from science as our understanding of the brain advances.

Great Info!! Most current - 11/2014
This audio is great! If you have any interest in this subject or have children today that are a bit different than most, this is the book for you! The audio is wonderful. I have listened to both Children of Now, released 2012 and this one, her most recent book. Both are excellent but if I were to recommend only one it would be this one. It has more current info and she recaps the previous book pretty well. I'll be listening to this again. 😃
